The official company page identifies GMO Coin, Inc. as a Japanese crypto-asset exchange business registered with the Kanto Local Finance Bureau and established in October 2016. The incorporation date is not used as the exchange launch date because the first-party source does not establish service launch on that exact date. Current API documentation was rechecked in July 2026 and includes exchange status, market data, authenticated trading, account operations, REST and WebSocket access, and a change history through June 2026.
