Order-book decentralized exchange built into Binance Chain, later renamed BNB Beacon Chain, and launched in April 2019. The native DEX module was deliberately decommissioned under BEP-151 after usage and liquidity shifted toward BNB Smart Chain AMMs. BNB Beacon Chain then stopped processing new transactions in its final sunset on November 19, 2024.

Record note
HEI models Binance DEX as a separate historical exchange entity because it was a distinct on-chain order-book venue rather than a Binance.com market screen. BEP-151 disabled the DEX module before the full Beacon Chain sunset; HEI uses 2024-11-19 as the conservative definitive terminal marker because the underlying chain stopped processing new transactions on that date.
